Map View

The 2D map view showing width restrictions in part of Oldham. The exact position and size of the limit is shown, simplifying your route planning.

If a width limit is selected, the width is shown in both metric and imperial.

A 7.5T weight limit is shown on the intended route. The restriction is due to a bridge further down the road.

If the satnav is set to ignore weight or width limits above the size of vehicle, no symbol would appear.

3D Driving View

The driver approaches the junction with the weight restriction. At this stage the weight limit is out of sight.

In this example the alert sounds at 500 yards. The driver can set the alert to sound at the distance of his choice.
Approach 1

Route recalculation

As the driver reaches the junction, the limit comes into view. If he decides to bear right to avoid the limit, the satnav will calculate a new route automatically.

The satnav continues to issue alerts for weight and width restrictions ahead.
Approach 2

The driver turns left and enters the restricted road, having been forewarned 500 yards ahead.
